This book which was prepared by the Office, Chief of Public affairs, Command Information Division, outlines programs being undertaken by the department of the Army's Office of the Bicentennial of the US constitution and OCPA to celebrate the constitution nationwide and suggest ways to commemorate the celebration at the local level. There are brief historical facts about what went on at the constitutional convention, conditions and influences in America which led to drafting of the constitution, and life as a soldier and citizen in a settled and unsettled United States.
