Summary: Principles of Public International Law (5th Edition) This is the fifth edition of one of the leading textbooks on public International Law. Its text has undergone a general process of checking and updating. It, however, rests upon the original conception of a study in one volume of the more significant aspects of the law of peace. In the present edition (5th Ed.), a chapter has been inserted on the legal aspects of the protection of the environment, and a short section on the disintegration of federal states. The principal removal has been the former cahpter twenty-seven on techniques of supervision and protection.
